The finals of the FIFA World Cup, to be held in Germany between 9th June and 9th July 2006, are one of the major events of the year, and millions of boys and girls will follow them avidly.
The World Cup Kit 2006 can form an engaging and truly involving project for Year 6 pupils in the second half of the summer term. It can be used as a whole (providing several weeks of work), in sections, or as a bank of materials to be dipped into.
In addition to the Year 6 material, care has been taken to provide activities about the World Cup for all other year groups in the school (Years 3 to 5). This is an ideal opportunity to involve the whole of KS2 in a major event.

In addition to the Year 6 material, care has been taken to provide activities about the World Cup for all other year groups in the school (Years 3 to 5). This is an ideal opportunity to involve the whole of KS2 in a major event.
