Thank you all for entering our Creepy Crawlies Competition just before Easter.
We are pleased to announce the launch of the brand new title Advice Bank : Head Lice, the first in the BRAND NEW ADVICE BANK series of health care resources for schools and parents.
As previously announced Pink Cow Limited is returning to its roots by teaming up with a new supplier to bring you remade versions of resources covering a range of childhood conditions and safety issues useful to schools, health professionals and parents.
We’re starting with the age-old issue of Head Lice and our brand new multi-media resource is almost ready!
April 2008 saw the launch of the new Eco-Vision series from Early Vision called ‘Let’s Play Our Part’ which aims to inform young children (3-7 year olds) about all things eco-friendly and inspire them to want to take part in saving the world!
The first product in the range – Let’s Play Our Part – Saving Energy proved extremely popular and we are now pleased to announce the launch of the long-awaited second title in the series, this one called - Let’s Play Our Part – Recycling. In the first title we were guided by Eco-Boy and in the new title it is Eco-Girl who is there to inform and inspire us!
From a new company to Pink Cow – SUMS Online Ltd – comes a brilliant new software program called SUMS Maths. This program has already won the much sought after NASEN ICT Accessibility Award (Oct 2008), with the judges noting the ‘immediate pupil appeal’ of the program.
This program is filled with enjoyable games and activities to make maths FUN!
I don’t know if you remember, but a little while ago we sent an email asking all schools if there were any software products they REALLY WANTED, an area or subject not covered adequately by any existing program?
Well … the resounding result was that Maths Worded Problems was an area lacking in really good software. You said that very often you find that your children can ‘do the maths’ but struggle with understanding how the words translate into the maths.
