From a new company to Pink Cow – SUMS Online Ltd – comes a brilliant new software program called SUMS Maths. This program has already won the much sought after NASEN ICT Accessibility Award (Oct 2008), with the judges noting the ‘immediate pupil appeal’ of the program.
We have been very impressed by the imaginative activities and well thought-out detail (for example the use of flags and road signs when finding lines of symmetry) and by the clever way answers are demonstrated pictorially to show why they were right or wrong. Good and clear use is made of mathematical notation to support the explanations.
